The Rotary Club of Tumbarumba was chartered in November 1961 and celebrated 50 years of service in 2011.

The Charter President, Russell Stevenson, is still an active member of our club.

We were very pleased to receive a 'Changemaker' Award presented to the club by RI President Kalyan Banerjee, 23rd May 2012.

Our club meets each Monday night at 6.30pm for dinner.

Our standard venue is upstairs at the Tumbarumba Hotel, however, meetings are also regularly held at other venues.

Visiting Rotarians are always welcome.

Fun & friendship are assured!

The Rotary Club of Tumbarumba has a real commitment to the community and a strong desire to contribute to its growth and prosperity.

One of the very real strengths of any Rotary Club is the diversity of its membership and the professional and sincere approach to community service.

The club currently has 27 members (male & female) representing many aspects of the lifestyles and professions found in Tumbarumba.

The age of our club members range from 24-89.

This diverse group enjoys stimulating discussion on social and community issues and how best to promote the Rotary message of 'Service above Self'.

Our Club supports many local events by providing volunteers & helpers.

Rotary International is the world's leading global network of community volunteers with members from professional backgrounds, business members and the community.  Australia has over 33500 members in 1200 local Clubs.  Rotary Clubs build wonderful friendships and their projects create amazing outcomes, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards and help build goodwill and peace throughout the world.  Many members join Rotary because they wish to make a difference to their local community.  Membership is by invitation and is open to people who want to serve their community.

Rotary...people like you and me!

Rotarians are ordinary people doing extraordinary things!
